Event #12 – No - Limit Hold'em HeadsUp Championship ($ 10,000): Brian Hastings (aka Stinger) won his first bracelet.
152 participants for departures, it was no longer than four to be back to argue the bracelet. The duel the instructor of CardRunners Brian 'Stinger' Hastings and Tommy Chen allowed to see a Hastings in full possession of his faculties, dominating his opponent without a problem. Meanwhile, Jason Mo shook his opponent Brock Parker.

Therefore, we were treated to a final between Jason Mo and Brian Hastings, and once again, the duel was one-sided in favor of Hastings. It is doing so with victory and a first world series bracelet. He won also $ 371 498, while Mo will have to settle for $ 229 722.

Event #13 - Limit Hold'Em $ 1500: David Arsht won his first bracelet in 66 years.
As expected, disposals quickly successive while there are 25 players, including half of them had less than 10 big bets before them. Not less than five players were eliminated from the first level.

It was the American David Arsht who wins. Aged 66, it's the first bracelet for Arsht and by far his biggest victory (in 2001, Arsht won a Limit Hold'em event ' Em for 'Seniors'). Arsht wins $ 211 921 for his victory.

Only Quebec representative having been able to spend the day 2, Erik Cajelais was back and assured scholarship $ 5295. To move to the next round, Cajelais was winning his table at 10 players to thus hope to win at least $ 17 544.

Unfortunately for him, he found himself all-in against the pair of ACEs of Erik Seidel, and the day was quickly finished for him.

Another who soon left was Phil Ivey. Recall that Ivey was also qualified in the #15 tournament, which began a little later. Force is to admit that Ivey will be preferred to prioritize the Stud tournament to $ 5,000 rather than his Hold'em Tournament ' Em shootout at $ 1500, because from the beginning to the Stud tournament schedule, he simply called a 3bet with Lao, to finally meet all in preflop against AKo, lost his hand, and move quickly towards his other tournament.

Some were however more chance that Ivey and Cajelais. This is particularly the case for Layne Flack, Jeff Madsen, David Chase, Justin Schwartz and Jarred Solomon.

The second day also marked the bursting of the bubble, while only the last 25 survivors were going to be able to bring out of this tournament with a paycheck of at least $ 9675. The fate has also made so that the latter found himself on the same table as his son, Todd, until its elimination.

He was then more than 19 players at the end of this long day. Adam Friedman captured temporarily the head with 323 500 chips. It is followed closely by John Monnette (314 500 chips), which will have the chance to win his second bracelet this year (he who won Seven Card Stud to $ 5,000 a few days earlier). Eyes are however on the duo of Phil Ivey-Hellmuth - which are respectively ranked 6th and 7th. Also note the presence of Todd Brunson in 12th place with 139 000 chips. Eli Elezra and Allen Bari must, for their part, hope a miracle since they respectively 50 500 and 20 000 tokens, while the blinds will be 6000-12000 with 1500 in ante...'

The action will resume at 5 p.m. Quebec while all are assured of at least $ 9675 and the winner put the hand on $ 269 037
