After five hours of play, the 31 survivors are only four. Among them, Joseph Cheong (who had finished third in the 2010 main event against Jonathan Duhamel). CHEONG will first face the French Hugo Lemaire. The other duel will oppose Warwick Mirzikinian against Aubin Cazals.

The action will resume - and ends - today.
Event #7 - Seven-Card Stud $ 1500: the end of 25 years of waiting for Andy Bloch!
It was expected a captivating day today while David Williams, Andy Bloch and Barry Greinsteen were respectively ranked first, second and third at the beginning of the day... and this is what we had!
The day started quickly while three players started the day in danger then that they had less than 6 big bets. Could be expected to Huu Vinh to make quickly eliminate (he who had only a stack of 2 big bets!), but the expression "a chip and a chair" took its meaning while he has been able to almost triple from the first level of the day. He finally tilted in 5th place, winning $ 26 813.
Meanwhile, Williams, Bloch, Greenstein and Stephen Su is traded tokens for a good while, until Williams is eliminated in 4th place. Bloch then put the pedal to the floor by eliminating Stephan Su, so that the duel between him and Greenstein began while Bloch had a 4: 1 advantage.
Quickly, Bloch has taken advantage of his solid game and its advantage in chips to win his first WSOP bracelet. It thus puts an end to food shortages in addition to 25 years for and pick up his first bracelet at the world series. Gone are the days where people felt Bloch as one of the best players without a world series bracelet! He won also $ 126 323 for his performance, while Greenstein will be consoled with $ 70 038.
Event #8 - Omaha Hi-Low split 8-or-better $ 1500: there are only 20 players, including John Racener, Allen Bari, Gavin Griffin and Dutch Boyd.
The finalists of the main event of 2010 will be featured today. After Joseph Cheong (3rd in 2010) located in the square of ACEs in the #6 tournament, now we find John Racener (2nd in 2010) in 6th place while he remains only 20 players.
The day began with 220 players. Todd Brunson, Daniel Negreanu and Jeff Madsen were particularly good position (4th, 8th, and 9th). But the classification is changed at all in this second day. Madsen was the first of the three to leave (in 80th place, for $ 3250). A little later, this is Todd Brunson, who was eliminated in 61st place ($4164), followed by Daniel Negreanu in 45th position ($5639).
Phil Hellmuth Jr., for his part, has stood out during the day while he had some spout with Barry Hartheimer. It was ultimately Hellmuth who came out on top on Hartheimer, while the latter was eliminated by Hellmuth in 82nd place. Hellmuth, in turn, pulls it off with a 52nd place ($4817).
Nikolai Yakovenko, the leader of the first day, is also part of the victims while he was eliminated in 43rd place.
There are still some big names among the survivors. This is the case of Allen Bari (2nd position - 417 000 chips) and Gavin Griffin (3rd position - 346 000 chips), both looking for their second WSOP bracelet. Dutch Boyd (149 000 chips - 14th place) is the quest for his third bracelet.
