According to the Wall Street Journal , 10 applications (which that of Texas Hold'em is part) have sent personal data to advertisers and other companies specialized in the collection and analysis of such information, even for users with the highest privacy settings.
According to the Wall Street Journal, personal information from Facebook members who used applications Texas HoldEm, FrontierVille, and FarmVille to name only few, have been sent to a minimum of 25 advertisers and other companies involved in the collection of data and personal information.
Facebook says he was informed of the situation, but denounced the "exaggerations" of the situation: "knowledge of identity does not allow anyone access to the personal information of the user without their explicit consent.
