Today marks the beginning of the 12th Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) with a total of earnings of 18 million dollars for all events. The popular series, now quarterly, consists of a series of tournaments with a vast pool of players and very large prizes to win.

The 12th FTOPS will be held from 6 to 17 May 2009 and will be a Main Event where 2.5 million dollars will be guaranteed. The two days 'high roller' will also be back with 2,500$ + $ 120 buy-in tournaments in the course of these FTOPS. Tournaments "high-roller" are usually populated by very solid players that makes prestigious tournaments online.

The 12th FTOPS also included new MiniFTOPS series taking place parallel to the FTOPS and will offer tournaments with one-tenth of the regular FTOPS tournaments entry costs. The total of scholarships guaranteed for the tournament of the day #2 and the Main Event of the MiniFTOPS tournament will be $ 500,000 and $200,000$.
